Internet Explorer 10 preview

Looks like Microsoft does not want to be left behind in the browser wars as it recently announced the Internet Explorer 10 platform.

IE 10 preview is available only for Windows 7, and its gonna be buggy, but if you are interested in finding out more and test driving it, then go to:
http://ie.microsoft.com/testdrive/

I won't be installing it, but if you do please drop back in and let us know how it goes.

Interesting to hear IE 10 is coming. Hopefully they'll address some of the speed issues of IE 9, to me, it seems slower than IE 8.

Could be other factors I suppose, but...

Yeah latest stats on the I.E. vs F.F. browser wars show that FF is now over 1/2 the market, even more than that when you look specifically at Europe where MS was forced to stop pre-loading I.E. on any Windows computer.

But that being said, IE 9 is doing much better than the previous releases so its trying to stage a bit of a comeback. And with Chrome doing its auto-updates and very quick life cycles, it seems that all browsers are trying to get into a faster release cycle.

lol. That is the version of Windows that I run on my Mac as well. XP is way better than Vista and better than Windows 7...
