What Type Of Payout Model Works Best For You In Mainstream?

Interesting question, ive just been talking to someone who told me that, unlike in the adult industry, he has found that PPC (Pay Per Click) or CMP (Per Impression) programs tend to make him the most money on his sites (blogs, directories etc) and i was wondering if anyone else had similar experiences?

I know when we have tried CPL (Cost Per Lead) and PPS (Pay Per Sale) programs they havent tended to have made us much money in mainstream

Have you found that to be successfull in mainstream you had to go with alternate payout methods than you have been used to in the adult industry?
