no more facebook style ads?

I got an email from ero advertising today saying:

Sounds like the end of Facebook style popup ads.

Anyone using these style ads? I tried once for a couple of months, but they did not work at all for me.

I received that as well, I assume fall out from the Hustler/FaceBook suit.
