Ok, maybe I'm the gloom bug, but if someone is selling off Sex.com, that is sorta scary.
does that mean they couldn't keep a downward spiral from happening themselves? or was it something else?
No clue who those guys are...
$13M for a domain? Wow! I can't believe a domain would be sold for that amount of money!
you should check out the story, it goes into a bit of the history for sex.com, including how this sale came out of a bankruptcy and how it was stolen in the past from its original owners.
I rem that:) I just didn't know what happened after the fallout :french:
So dramatic that there is actually a box about it!

Well, if I would own a domain which is worth that much money and someone would made me an offer, there is one good reason for me to sell it:
Find me the sexiest guy my money could buy and retire to an island where I never have to bother about heating or snow in winter. :D:)
Crazy that only 3 or 4 years ago it was sold for almost $15 million... Kind of shows that just because you have a great domain name, it might not always be a cashcow.
Im wondering if this is just a PR stunt by the existing owners and they actually own the new company that just 'purchased' the domain?

Lee
Come on...this is the DADDY of all porn domains!
Simple as that!
Pretty much everyone now knows you don't just type in "sex" into a search engine and expect to get what you "want".
It's golden days are LONG GONE.
Simple as that really.
