Did you deliberately include the parades as part of the travel itinerary? Regardless, it's great you got to be there!
Half and half! I picked Liverpool because I could stay in student housing (similar to a dormitory) in July and August, because school was out, and the students had gone home. Once in Liverpool for a known number of days, I was able then to go to Liverpool Pride, then Leeds and then Manchester.
Other Prides were the same dates, so I had to pick and choose based on distance. So, I missed Belfast and Edinburgh. If Belfast had been a month earlier, I could have gone while I was in Dublin.
I'm used to Minneapolis Pride Parades, but in the years I lived in LA, West Hollywood, I never went to the CSW (Christopher Street West) Pride Parade! Nor Las Vegas, where it is 115°F when they have theirs!
