Post How About Some Link Exchanges?

Now I know in the adult end of things, not all that many seem too concerned about link trades or those that do seem to rather ignore the aspect a bit as they get wrapped up in content updates and all.

As this is a new forum here, was wondering if perhaps we couldn't have a thread where those wishing to exchange links with other NON ADULT sites could simply list their sites and have others do the same.

Now I would also like to say that perhaps there should be a guideline of two in order to protect those who do wish to exchange links. For one thing, the sites shouldn't be linking to adult sites. This could harm some prospective link partner in their processing. We all know how picky some of them non adult folks get.

So the site should be hosted & served on a clean domain, in other words not have the same IP as an adult site one owns.

On that basis I'd like to offer my site for link trades in our resource section.
The site is on a clean IP, and has no links to adult sites on it, including to any of my own.

    the site URL is
    http://www.dm-gifts.com/

I prefer text links using 'gifts' 'wood carvings' or 'collectibles' in them

    Please link to:
    http://www.dm-gifts.com/gifts.html

Anyone wishing to link to me, please email me with your site name, text link you wish to use, and url you wish to have the return link sent to.

email me at webmaster AT dm-gifts DOT com and add the words GWW LINKS in the subject line so I'll know its from here and get it dealt with as a priority.

    Thanks...

You know, i got to say i love trading links with people for their site however, in complete contrast to your experience, i have always found it much easier to trade links in the adult industry compared with non-adult.

I even posted on some of the larger populated resource forums last year asking for link trades and several people replied that they didnt like trading links because 'i have no control over your site' LOL

They didnt seem to understand the concept of inbound/outbound links and how they could benefit them.

    Regards,

    Lee

Could be Lee, I don't know, seems to me that many adult owners either don't even have a links section, or if they do they cram it full of banners with 100's of outgoing links that negate the whole purpose. I mean not many seem to comprehend the value of inbound/outbound links in either segment it seems.

I think that it is more of a trust issue. Some of the people I have spoken to say they do not want to have to go back in and check to see if their link is still there.

Strange how a high risk industry has more trust than main stream

She is a client of ours and they sell a lot of crafts. Heck you might even consider becoming a merchant of theirs and selling your products on her site LOL. But the link exchange might not hurt, they do get quite a bit of traffic.

Lee, I have found the same thing! For some reason, mainstream webmasters are incredibly paranoid about anything that pertains to their sites. They don't like to share, or exchange links. I finally had to go to a link-exchange service just to build up my link pages.

I really think there are a lot of Mainstream WMs who don't understand how much more traffic they can get through linking. If they only opened their minds (and their eyes) and checked out adult sites like "The Hun", "GreenGuy", they would see the benefit of creating link pages that actually accept outside links. I can't even imagine how much money the hun and gg pull in now with their link sites, but I know it must be fairly profitable, especially after all these years.

BTW--anyone who would like to exchange links with my very new and not really high up in ranking pages yet, I have a few for different niches:

    http://www.giftfinder4u.com/links.php

    http://www.bestonline4u.com/bestonli...ting/links.htm

    http://bestonlinecasinos4u.com/links.php

    http://www.bestonline4u.com/links/links.php

send me a pm, or use the submit links (only on giftfinder,bestonline4u/links, and bestonlinecasinos4u)

I think the problem most Non-adult gay webmasters see in this issue is if someone they linked to decides to host adult content and one of the webmasters "supporters" finds this link they will cancel thier banners or what have you. So the webmaster has to constantly check his affilliates to make sure there is no adult content associated with his/her site. So they decide against all the headaches that it could create.
Or worse yet thier hoster could cancel thier account creating a massive problem if said webmaster already has a good following and some money coming in from advertisers or supporters.

Thats how I see it :extat:

Previous to this venture I worked in the adult biz and tho I can't speak for everyone, however, anyone who is serious about the adult biz has a links section, even if just something simple, although your not going to find many links pages unless you are looking at free sites.

With that said, I am looking for link exchanges for my myspace like site, but can't post URL's as of yet, so it's email (supportATofficiallygay.com) or ICQ:204407085

Now, mind you .. I look at who I link with. If there is no Warning Page and has suspect content that makes me uncomfortable, I remove their link and ask for mine to be removed also.

Beyond that, why would I be concerned with content, that is not hosted on my URL?

    Link exchange on 3 sites

Hello I was wondering if anyone wanted to trade banners. Looking for a front and center position you do that, I can list on 3 sites, buffcollegeguys.com, gayphotorating.com, strokingmales.com. Email me for more information and let me know your sites address, and where banner would be placed. If you get good traffic let me know and can do 50% rev share on this.
