Need Beta testers for my new web site

I would like to invite you all to come and beta test my new web site. Please keep in mind that I have not launched this site to the public yet. It is still in early development and I have not put a lot of time into design, meaning it's not pretty or flashy. I am focusing on navigation and content right now.

Also keep in mind that this requires a high speed DSL or cable connection. If you have dial up you will not get past the first page of the site. You do not need to sign up for anything to beta test this site. Below is a short description and a link.

NetfreeTV.com is a free service that brings television entertainment right to your PC. We feature REAL cable television networks from the US and around the world. No cable bills to pay, nothing to sign up for, No pop-up ads or spy-ware. Just free entertainment 24/7 with no strings.

    I want my pc-tv...

    Cool site...

I could see some good and interesting uses for this in the future.
Some tv channels took longer to buffer and some were just fine. The interface will need a little more work to make it "AOL USER" friendly but for me the links are easy to understand.

The size of the video window is just about right..nothing smaller though.

The ability to place ads on the TV window is great. I would try to target the ad display to the TV channel.

    ok thats pretty damn cool.

Works well here in aust. A choice of bitrates and playing in the media player instead of a web page would be handy... google: making ASX files

That it pretty interesting. Really nice.

Just curious - do you have a schedule of what might be playing or is that soon to come? You might talk to Mark over at tvhound.com as well to maybe see if some type of partnership might be worked out.

Works perfect from overhere - Denmark
    - and the navigation/design ... perfect too - KISS

But, but - You seem to be linking to the stations existing "outlets"
(no appreciable bandwidth cost on your end)
Just putting them all together - for my convenience,
    - and your opportunity for placing ads...
Are you sure the stations won't mind that ?

No they don't mind. I talked with each and every network I feature.

The problem with that is big cable companies have staff to put together stuff like this, it costs money. Down the road we may work out a deal with some time of listing service. Maybe TV guide Channel.

I am tring to keep all the streams at or around 300 which anyone with a cable or DSL connection should be able to stream. Not really catering to Dial up users. In the end, I can only stream at whatever they give me since the streams are all hosted off site.

You can view most of the channels in full screen by right clicking. I do plan to add more controls that will give further control and veiwing options. My main focus is content right now.

The ads are more of a cross promotion to advertise new channels or site features. I plan to add VOD services to cover the cost of hosting and new features. Something like HBO OnDemand and such. However the basic commercial networks will always be free.

It only works on windows media streams right now. I'll fit that when I add more custom controls.

That's a terrific site - I'm sure it'll only improve with time. Had no problems here streaming channels.

Yeah it is a great site !

The site is very cool and looks clean too. It would be better if not using frame.
Use CSS instead, this way the site is much more search engine friendly.
    Well done!

you can probably put the schedule from a specific station by linking to TitanTv for example

    like this
