putting two positive performers together overlooks that people with compromised immune systems are less likely to be able to fight off other infections. there are tons of STD's that no one tests for - yeast infections and bacterial things that the average person either fights off or else simply takes antibiotics for. a person with HIV may not be able to fight it off, and can experience lots of complications that wouldn't happen in a negative problem.
Come on guys! In the 25 years I've been on the fringes of the gay male world, nothing has changed! You'd think with all the information, all the deaths there would be some radical changes in behavior.

The above points you made are very true and very sad, if I didn't have a shit load of work to do, I'd rant on them along with you. You are a Father, and by all you have portrayed, a loving and sencible Dad. You know as well as I, the world is fucked, and it may just be as simple as parents not doing their JOB.
Why don't I carry any known STDs? Well, maybe by good fortune.
