My partner produces/directs mainstream projects and I often times help edit or film them. We've done stuff for Subway, Pepsi, AT&T, Ashford and Simpson, and other music videos/concerts.

We filmed a reality show pilot for a popular rapper and it just got sold to BET, so we'll start filming that pretty soon to start airing in the summer.

I'm also a geek. Love technology, gadgets, computers, building my own... it gets to be an expensive hobby.

I'm trying Dess, thanks for the support. I've been working out the foundation for nearly a year now. I've had to collect information that I'll need for each of the chapters so I know what I'm writing about. Worse thing I can do is write about something I have no knowledge of. So hopefully I can get started as Chapt. 1 is already written.

I bodyboard regularly, ride my motorbike regularly (sportbike) and I like to go diving when I can.

I am also an apprentice electrician.

Looks likes you have a bunch on the go.
Glad to read your training for a marathon - my first exposed my weak points, as well the strong ones.

base jumping ... wee! I've been kicking around the idea of doing it with skis (as with paragliding) around Columbia Ice Fields.

I'm still jealous. Ran 12 miles last night and my knees are so swollen I can hardly walk-my next boyfriend is going to have to be into your type of extreme sports (base jumping sounds like a blast) otherwise I'll get bored and I'll never settle down.

Yah, not sure if you are familiar with Telemark or freeheel skiing, but it is pure havoc on one's knees! Guess I can say, I feel your pain.

    * * * SPOILER * * *
not to take the fun out of life (the thrill of the hunt), but if your looking for a bo that's more or less in to what I'm in to, check out your local mountaineering or alpine 'club'.

In Canada it is the Alpine Club Of Canada (ACC)
    - Cheap to join ($40/year)
    - Access to gear, if you do not have or are not sure if it's for you
    - All levels of out put (beginner to advanced)
    - Once you get enough experience, you can lead groups on trips of your choice (more or less), if that's your cup of tea
    - Groups gather and go on all sorts of trips
    - It's a great way to get started & meet people
and if yoiu don't like it ... eh, it was only $40.

Yeah I totally understand Paco-I've gone down more than my fair share of black diamond moguls (here in the States though) and I broke my arm on Colorado Mt. in the Andes outside Santiago, but I've never heard of Telemark or freeheel...I googled it-wow! that looks like a sh*tload of fun-too bad the season is pretty much over this year and I doubt I can go down to the Andes again this summer. Where do you go for your cold weather high in the summer months? I know Canada can get pretty warm in the summer (and I only know this because we just bought the rights to a small Canadian porn company).

Aye, a sh*tload of fun it is in deed - talk about a total body workout.

I live in Alberta, so the Ice Fields (Columbia, Wapta etc) are a short 4-hour drive away. Yup, that means year round skiing, however, I do have to earn the turns (hike, skin, ski - repeat B & C).

S_UH_MER  quick, get it off ... it burns :spook: (j/k).

Looks like I'm coming to this thread a bit late. Didn't Huskyhunks start a similar thread on here recently???

Anyway, apart from writing about adult web sites, I write for a number of gay and lesbian publications, both L.A.-based and national, as well as for a few mainstream rock music mags (Rockrgrl, Amplifier). I mainly cover the entertainment beat: movies, music, TV, books, theater. Those are the things I enjoy in life the most (besides camping and hiking in Runyon Canyon, which I rarely get to do because of my work schedule).

I also read scripts for a few production companies in L.A. I let them know whether or not they should bother making them into movies. I've seen 7 of the scripts I recommended (and a few that I told them to pass on) get made into movies, including House of Sand and Fog, Danny Deckchair, Thank You for Smoking (out right now) and the forthcoming Black Dahlia.

I also write porn scripts from time to time, and am trying to find the capital to produce one of them.

    There you have it.
