LOL! Yeah, really. Well, the thing about the kink community is that the really together leatherfolk are really amazing people because you have to do a lot of soul searching and getting to know yourself really well before you can get into the intense level of interaction we strive for, be it the play, the relationships or whatever. However, it also opens the door to a lot of crazies. And the crazy leather people are even more crazy than vanilla people because they have given themselves license to be weird, and do so without restraint (pun not intended).

I used to work with a guy many many years ago who thought the UPC code was the mark of the beast that was talked about in the book of Revelations (the end of the world section of the Bible, for those of you fortunate enough to not have it shoved down your throats your whole childhood). It says that people who carry the mark of the beast will not be taken to heaven and so he thought that by a certain time we would all be required by the government to have one tattoo'd onto our skin, but if we did it would mean eternal torment.

He was a bit of a nut.

Honey, you only have one life. If you have fantasies you've never explored, if they don't involve hurting yourself or someone else, then why not go for it?

If you are going to play with someone casually, you do what is called "negotiating". You talk first. As a bottom you tell them what you will and won't do, and agree on "safe words" so you can call things off or slow down if they get too intense. The Top takes it upon himself to learn the bottom's limits and interests.

If you are talking long term, my personal thing is to really get to know them and let them know you, you open yourself up completely to them, no surprises, no secrets, no lies. Once you know each other inside and out, you no longer need safe words, you can go to a really deep place. But that is not, I repeat not, for a novice or for someone you are only playing with once or twice. That, to me, is a very serious relationship.

It's not something you can fit into a few lines, there's a lot of learning and experience involved. But it can be very rewarding if you do the work. It's like anything else, you can take a helecopter to the top of the mountain or you can climb the mountain. Either way you'll get to the same place but your journey, and what you get out of it, will be completely different.

Yeah, its kinda funny. i'll run into those people from time to time and they will lookk at me like I'm the devil himself. Those people make me laugh!

best d8 ... no idea! Heck, it's been so long, I cannot even remember the date of my last date, let alone which was the best! I do know that it was with a human - all my dates with aliens have gone bad.

okay okay, I lied ... the last date I had was with DarrenAustin, in Vegas, many years ago.

We attended the CyberSocket Party (wee, what a grand ole time - Redbull&Vodka; condoms stuffed in my boxer-briefs etc). Next came the oh-so-boring 'hiphop' awards (whatever that lame party with DigitalUnderground is called ... oh yah, The Ballin Playa), however, it did allow Darren & I to have an intense one-on-one, on a sofa upstairs behind the roped off area (the cool security guard let us be). It all ended with breakfast in his room.

Jeepers, I just realized that that was my best date!
