there are several threads where you tell us very clearly that your site is all plugins. you have told us you started to buy content but very recently said your site is still plugins. so if you even more recently added some videos to your site, i had not heard of it. i expected we WOULD hear about it since you have kept us in the loop about your content till now more than any other webmaster on the site.
other than that, most of what i've said is more about my knowledge base than anything to do with your site or you in any way. i DID say you don't take advice - but i'm far from the only person on gww who has said that.

It's unproductive, rude, and wasteful of bandwidth to solicit suggestions, get good ones, and then argue with the people who know more than you about why they're wrong. Especially when they are not.
I never said my site is all Feeds, even from the very start of this site. Yes at one time I did have more feeds than I do now so I could concentrate more on promoting my own site, but I that was never true. As far as lessening to people yes sometimes I really do, and sometimes I do not. It just depends, sometimes I do have to look at the motives of why some people say thing, and how successful they have been with their sites in the past and that just add to the weight of their statements to me
Well man i did have some concerns about the whole twink thing with CCbill just like 1/2 of the people that voted in the poll. And you are right I do watch the money I spend I am building a site, so I need what is best for me today, as far as paying another 750$ for a processor or just getting more content with that money for my viewers. I am open to what is said, in fact I got the disk drive just the other day that I was advised to get, but I would not say I would take every statement made to me to hart with out challenging it at all.
This is all a really good way for me to start my day of work thax guys. But really like I have said before I do not want to argue with people, I really have allot of work to get done and do not need all the extra stress on me. :nerd:

I usually get a good read on people. Poker helped me do that. You I have no idea what you are about and if you even know what is involved in creating a paysite.

In my opinion, budget $10,000 for startup based on what i think you want to do at $30. You are not in a niche like voyeur, bears, asian, bondage, wrestling, uncut, or any other where someone will just fork over $30 bucks. YOU NEED CONTENT AND LOTS OF IT. AND YOU FUCKING BETTER HAVE EXCLUSIVE CONTENT IF YOU WANT TO KEEP A MEMBER.
A twink site is probably one of the most expensive startup ventures you can undertake. The market is saturated. MOST new twink sites have a twist. A theme. AND HARDCORE IS NOT A TWIST. I am so sick of seeing one cute guy get fucked by another guy I dont like and seeing the shit on the condom as its pulled out. Or even worse the Babeback cobra stuff that just point the camera at a dirty ass while someomes getting fucked bareback.
Most webmasters that I have worked with in the past that started a site have been promoting other sites in a nice that they know inside and out. They may have bought 100-200 sets of content and created feeder sites and galleries and whatever. Then they put the content they already had and had already made money on it into a small paysite with a few feeds and gave it their personal touch. Started small at like $15 and as the site grew and they added more content and found photographers that did exclusive work, they grew and upped the price and started another site.
My friends at boyorgasm.com started this way. they grew and photographers actually contacted them.
BUT, they never complained about text, bitched about setup fees, stole content. And to be honest i dont think they posted on the boards unless it was a quick question.
Look at Hammerheads posts. He comes on, asks a question, get advice, thanks whoever gave it, and goes to work on the advice.
Many people do not know me now as many got in as I was getting out. But those who know me know I offer advice very freely. Sometimes I don't explain myself well in a quick post.
I mean my own business plan for just one project I am working on is 10 pages long. And I just spent 40 hrs writing a 20 page proposal of a project that I am doing with the guys at gossamer threads that's going to cost me at leat 30 fucking thousand dollars, because I refuse to outsource to India.
To be honest 80% of the plugins are useless. AEBN theaters are ok as long as you don't go for the low bandwith. Squirts is cool. Montreal boys is ok, not great. The topbucks feed are half decent. But almost everything else sucks. Trust me I know every gay feed out there. I know what deal you can get if you ask for them. And Ctiboyz is ok as well.
You mention Lee's site about the live shows. Ok. Great. Create a half page ad like his tours are and link to a join page. If you think just because he's the moderator of this site everything he does is right, then good for you.
Max. there are some people that will give you an honest answer of what the BELIEVE is right. Bass is one. I am one. Others will too. But MANY other will lie out their ass about what they make. What their conversions are and all that. TRUST ME. PLEASE TRUST ME ON THAT.
Very few people will give out secrets. Bass has given you more advice for FREE than most people will. AND IT'S GOOD ADVICE.
I have consulted with three major affiliate programs. One Bedfellow was one of the first big players. The other two are big players as well. I have created two different affiliate programs and am currently in a partnership with one. I have created over 10,000 feeder sites and market over 200 different sites with all kinds of traffic. I am not saying this to brag, but saying this because even with all the shit i done in this business, What you are doing with this site I would never think of doing. It's just common sense that you acquire in this business.
My goal posting here is to make friends. To get advice when I need it. And to offer advice to those that I hope to earn their respect.
