hey guys.....whats up!!

I want to know how to optomize my movies....im trying to do it with my program that i use...but there is so much that i able to do with that program....its called :pinnacle version 8, by the way....anyway...

i wanted my movie to be fast to download for others...but at the same time..i need good quality........for full srceen example..not only that but...

If you guys can help me it will be very appreciated

Hi Sakbao,

I presume you are referring to your members downloading the videos and then viewing them from their local pc's.

I would suggest that you use the DIV-X Codec (www.divx.com)

.. A codec is a compression routine that Studio can use.

DivX will compress your videos and you will be able to retain full screen playback functionality with smaller output AVI files than with other codecs like Cinepak etc.


If you want to stream your videos from your webserver I would suggest using the Windows Media Encoder which you can download for free from microsoft.com (search for windows media encoder)

This will give you acceptable video throughput at 352-288 pixels, 24-25fps at 250kb/s internet connections.
