How many is the norm to show for a video scene

are you talking about a set of vidcaps or are you talking about a preview thumb for each clip?

A preview for a video clip

so I would have a link to a main DVD - then a link to each scene in that DVD - and then - thumbs for that scene - its the number of thumbs for the scene that they are downloading

most sites use one per clip.

i've seen a few use 6 per clip and a couple use 4. i've seen two sites use more.

would you say 4 is a good standard to go by ? from the sites you have seen.

I know it would eventualy be down to site design and layouts in the members area, but I am doing a new site and can accomodate more or less befor i start getting the layouts done.

4 sounds fine to me

there really is no rule about this - and i say this as a site reviewer who has seen over 800 paysite member areas. do what looks good on your site and what you think will work for your members
