    Oh, no, not another one...

Yeah, I'm another newbie. I draw gay cartoons and artwork. While I have no paysites myself, I often provide content to those who do. Looking forward to reading everybody's discussions.

Well, my ultimate goal is to sell my toons. I'm not sure how to go about doing that. Which, of course, is why I'm reading these boards.

At this time I'm doing work on a commission/contract basis. Not making very much either. Well, maybe that will change someday.

I have a personal webpage here:

Wow your stuff is great. I may be in the market for your sutff someday, but I see you specialize in "Bears" but you will not do "Furry". I'm a little confused. "Bears" to me implies "Furry". I don't subscribe to definition that "Bear" means "Fat". It's gotta have fur to be a bear!

I LOVE to draw body hair! And I can do it well.

When I mentioned "furry" on my site, I didn't mean bears, I meant anthropomorphics. Which, in simple terms, is human-like animals, I guess kinda like Disney does sometimes. I don't have a desire to draw them, and I don't do it well at all, which is why I don't draw furries. I CAN draw animals, in a non-sexual sense of course.

However. Most of my traffic comes from a demographic that considers hair "icky" and if I draw Garec (one of my characters) the way he REALLY appears, with his hairy tummy and all, I get flamed. I'm catering largely to the anime/manga crowd, who prefer thinner, smoother, "twinky" bodies. My personal preference, if you're talking just me, is a well-built, not thin, furry man. I haven't gotten linked on any major search engines, so I take what I can get in terms of traffic and commissions.

I can draw chub. I don't do it often, but I can. One of my best drawings is a portrait of Baron Vladimir Harkonnen, in full bondage regalia.

"Reply with Quotes" is a graphic up at the top. Kinda weird looking.

Furry man art? Can do. Gimme a day or so to dig up my serious bear art... mmm... bears...

    Here's a bearish dude...

A lot of my characters that I draw really have a lot of hair, but I don't always draw it. Most of my surfers get all, EEWWWWW HAIR IS ICKY!!!! about it. The majority of fans prefer the twink boys.

Haven't got any of those drawn up. I have a "mature" character in one of my comics, but he's not hairy, except I guess for a beard. I can draw mature men though, no problem.

I would like to commission a "Fast CG Portrait" of a mature hairy man. Do you take input or do I get whatever you draw? I'm fine with either way. Are the images exlusive to me? Do I have license to use them on whatever website I own?

I think your work is great!
