What did you achieve for 2006?

As the year winds down when you look back over the last 12 months, what have you managed to knock off your "to do list", outside of general site upkeep? Any new sites? Projects started or finished? Learned something new? Or just some accomplishment you're terribly proud of?

Opened my first paysite with my partner in London! This has been my most rewarding experience in this business yet. I can't wait to see what the new year brings.

I went solo / independent. It's the best thing I ever did. It took awhile to get there because it's a scary proposition, but I'm so happy being my own boss.

That is quite an exciting step! I was lucky enough to go through something similar this year - going from being almost entirely an affiliate to running the site that was my favorite sponsor before! A pretty wild trip, but going from promoting a site to actually getting involved in creating the content has been a thrill.

2006 was a uber-busy year for me, having started here at CorbinFisher in late 2005. I got settled here, and went from being Director of Marketing to VP of Operations, actually getting to run a site and company I'd admired for years before coming here. We launched AmateurCollegeSex.com this year, made incredible progress on other projects we have in the works that will come about early next year, took the plunge on adjusting our affiliate program (something I came here with the idea to do and got to prepare for and develop), totally redesigned our existing AmateurCollegeMen.com site, all the while continuing to film content and run a site that produces new challenges everyday.

    An amazingly exciting year!

well, the year isn't over yet and we're still crankin' it out! we just signed our exclusive distribution agreement to put our entire line of videos in the EU and, we're days away from going up with barebackMasters.com and we hit our 21st video release and let's see, what else... oh, yes, we have passed our 10th anniversary mark of when we MET IN THE GYM... jeez, now that you get me to think about it, that's a lot...

oh, and one last thing, we've managed to meet a lot of great people from this board who have helped us broaden our horizons and peddle our porn!
thanks (back to work - we still got 21 days to "bang" out some more)

    This year. Hmmm.

Well i shut my old company down just after new year 2006. Started in the adult biz again, full time from day 1. In that time i have managed to start my own sponsor, with 4, soon to be 6 sites.

I have managed in 12 months to build a ever growing, profitable company that i am proud of. My quote for 2006 will be, "the best way to get out of depression is to build a business".

I have had some ups, iv had some downs aswell, so a very bumpy year, but im coming up to 12 months full time now, and im very happy :broccoli:

2006 was an exciting year for me. Some of you guys remember over on another board, when I was just getting my feet wet. During this year.

2006 ended up bringing me officially into the adult industry. I started up my own company and produced a DVD. I found a distributor, and it is due out in stores by the end of this month. Needless to say, this has been a very exciting, and very life changing year for me!

that's so great - the "first" one is always the "hardest" or so the expression goes... now your real work is ahead, cause those distributors and retailers and everyone else wants those DVDs to roll out on a regular basis - bang, bang bang - good luck - it CAN be fun too!

Turning gayasianphotoalbum.com into a gay porn blog and turning gaysideshows.com into a porn blog this year was probably the best thing I've done all year. The former was a total failure as an avs type site and the latter was starting to slow down as a free type site. So, I scraped them and turned them both into blogs. 8 months later things are turning around at those two sites.

Not a success story yet, but I got started this year in August. I spent 2 months learning the business of sponsors and affilates and galleries and TGP's and such... and the other 3 months starting up my own business, finding models and getting content photo shoots going.

I'm only up to 5 models right now, but I have 3 more on the way before the end of the year.
