Never to make resolutions... that was my New Year's resolution 15 years ago. I've stuck to it.

Wow!! We had the same resolution at almost the same time! Mine for January 1, 1989 was to never make any more New Years Resolutions. Luckily, I have been able to stick to that one. Funny thing I remember it because that was about 4 years into a 15 year drinking spree for me~

I stopped drinking 2-22-1999 and have been without a drink every since. Staying sober one day at a time has been my daily resolution ever since, and my life gets better every year because of it. It wasn't the New Year that got me to do it [obviously] but an intense desire to get out of the horrible pit of existence I had let myself descend into. It was a humiliating arrest and a lot of soul searching followed by resolve and hard work to follow through to a better life.

The best time to improve life is not always when we turn the page on the calendar. Sometimes the time for a life changing resolution is right now~

Install the cable correctly (in one of the bedrooms upstairs where there is some 'work out' equipment) there was not a cable connection. So there is a cable running from the spare bedroom (on the flloor). I gave him six month when we moved in but 13 have passed now.

And travel more - so far Puerto Vallarta (vacation) is January, and Seattle (Microsoft Summit and vacation). June - possibly Hawaii but I am wanting to go to Florida (DisneyLand). I have never been there.

Maybe get a new computer when Vista has been tested out on a few (more) machines.

Thought it was too specific for words....actually spent most of yesterday assuming this was a thread for peeps in New York.....LOL

I get it now, its for those peeps who lie to themselves at the start of the year thinking their 'strong will' will actually work for them this time around...... nope I don't make 'em!

I know myself way too well, If I can't make a desision about something the other 364 days of the yaer...then the 1st of January sure isn't going to help me hold to it any better.......So as I say...none from me
