Kissme, don't worry about always having something original to say. I write a lot of text for my sites and it is a losing battle to try to satisfy yourself. Sometimes I beat myself up because I think my text is dull and repetitive. I can't imagine how many times I've typed "huge uncut cock", . But then I remember that my audience hasn't read everything I've written. And even if they have, they won't remember most of it. After all, it's just porn, not the next great American novel.

KissMe, if you don't mind I have a few suggestions.

I don't think your blogs are really long enough. There's not enough substance their to get the reader hot and bothered. A lot of surfers don't read, they just look at pictures and click. But many others do read. Describe the guy in more detail. I talk about what I'd do to them, sometimes I even bring in personal experiences, "That reminds me of the time I ..." Even if I never did, I just make it up, it's a part of the blog's personality.

Like with your Marcello post you could have talked about how Italian men really turn you on and why. Or tell a story about some hot sex you had when you went to Italy. Your writing is coming off too much like "here a hot picture, buy this." You need to spin a better yarn to keep the surfers coming back. "Wow! I can't believe this guy just told me this about himself."

In the cowboy post you could have mentioned the cowboy craze as a result of Brokeback Mountain, even talked about the movie a bit.

I'd also stop bolded those keywords, I find it distracting. If you're trying to boost keywords, I don't think it's a tactic that's going to bring you much.

I'd also make the pics a bit bigger. Make them wide enough to fill up the whole width of the editorial space.

Idolknights is right, you need to bring more than just cock into it.

There are four bajillion blogs out there telling surfers this guy's cock is hot and you should see it. What's going to make yours stand out? I've certainly been guilty of that myself, and I'm planning to start filling it up with more stuff, blogs that don't even refer the surfer anywhere with a referral code.

BTW, if you want to trade blog links, let me know.

    Cheers
    Michael

That daily grind of what the fuck do I say today can definately wear one down and quickly. Here's a few other ideas:

Include behind the scenes or industry related news of interest to surfers. Is a hot new solo site about to launch, got a fan sign, or know some sponsors that have or will give you sponsor or model interviews? Politics can get dicey but some issues may warant surfer attention, especially when their right to view porn is at risk by laws or bills no one knows about.

Intersperse selling with general gay news. Who just exited the closet in Hollywood? Know of a hot gay destination for a vacation? See something on TV that was gay related and want to report your impression of it? How is Gay pride celebrated in your city? ... lots of potential for posts!

Spice it up with some purchased erotica stories as another category. Just put it out there, don't try to sell a site from using it.

I'm sure your email box gets stuffed with funny sex stories, jokes, pics, etc ... just say it's from your email and go with it ... Sex is Funny type category.

If you're pushing a new dvd - grab that wonderful text that is on most good dvd stores for text. Change it up a bit so it's not identical and won't annoy the SE. Make it sound more like your opinion ... kinda like a review.

Hunt around for sex tips or info on what constitutes an intimate dinner. Credit the author, and don't worry about upselling from the post. :coffee:

Also, another thing I did is that I joined every e-mail update I could find. Any site that has a newsletter or weekly update, I joined it. Watch your e-mail box fill up with news.

    Newsletters are good!

I would also say join non porn newsletters but with gay issues.

    Example: HRC.org

I read in a newsletter about the brokeback mountain auction and was a winning bidder on some of the costumes.

Letting your readers know they can own historical community items from a ground breaking Hollywood movie stands you apart from the rest as a destination to find information, fun and porn.
