All I gotta say is that I endorse and support labeling 100 percent. I'm very thankful for the ASACP's work on this behalf, and am a big fan of the RTA label. It shows that the adult industry CARES about protecting children, and that should be a top priority for ANYBODY involved in this business.

What I don't understand is why the ASACP and moguls like Playboy, Hustler, etc all threw in on RTA.
What is wrong with ICRA? It's been in place much longer, is stable and working, and is used by many filtering programs already.
Why muddy up the waters by creating yet another labelling site, rather than just supporting the one that's already there?

What ought to be advocated as a solution is the superior solution of using filtering software, as it does not limit its effectiveness to within the United States, nor does it abridge our civil rights.

Does it abridge the civil rights of movies to make them use G, PG and X ratings for their movies?

True, it's not mandatory that they use them, BUT everyone knows that if you don't, your movie will basically get blacklisted and fail miserably. I think that's how it should be in the adult business.

Meaningless or not, effective or not, ratings represent something we should all be striving for.
