Jacob - How Much Do You Per Month For Your BlackBerry Service?

Ive just gotten off the phone with Sprint about this and i think they are trying to over-charge me on top of the regular service plan we already have.

Is an 'additional' plan needed in order to use the BlackBerry device?

    Regards,

    Lee

    HEY!

I'm not Jacob.... but my roommate and I both have sprint phones...

I do know that around here there is an extra service/plan charge every month to have the "better" phones, if you want all the phone's ammenities/features to work. I personally got the all inclusive vision package that covers EVERYTHING.

You can have the nice phone and not pay for those services, but what's the sense in that?

    Well... TTYL

    Love, Sky

    Hey Lee,

You have 2 choices with the blackberry data plan. The first one is $24.99 a month for 10mb, or unlimited for $44.99. Plus your normal cell phone plan. I can hook my blackberry up to my laptop and use it as a modem and have broadband speeds. I also have aim, yahoo msngr and can surf gww on it, of course email. What else does a person need? I love Blackberry and have had one for years. Get the 8703e, you can also have gps on it.

Let me know if I can answer any further questions.
    Thanks,
    Jacob

The prices I gave you are based off of Verizon Wireless, that is who I use. Sprint is very similiar and I believe the price is the same.

If you travel outside of the US, which I know you go back home to the UK, check out Cingular as they are GSM and you can use your phone there. Verizon/Sprint both CDMA will only work in the U.S./Canada/Japan and South Korea, but CDMA is a quicker network for now.

If Cingular would have worked at my house better, I would have probably switched from Verizon to them, mainly for world mobility when I go on cruises it work outside of the U.S.
    Thanks,
    Jacob
