Haven't had anything this bad in Colorado for awhile. Airlines are grounded and the city is shutting down from banks, malls and schools. We are supossed to get up to 24" of snow. The problem is the wind is very bad. I'm glad I don't have to actually drive to work.

During my last year in Grand Forks, North Dakota the local newspaper started naming blizzards like hurricanes -- the last and worst was Blizzard Hannah. Not just the airport was shut down, but even the city streets, and the winter weather advisories were "winds and cold exceeding fatal temperatures. Do not attempt to go outside under any circumstances"
You silly Coloradans can be such weenies! The Canuks in Winnipeg would just put on an extra tuk and go about their business with what you are experiencing.
