yes and yes. unfortunately i didn't think it was an earthquake at the time. my roomate was running all over the apartment opening and closing drawers and slamming doors (he was late getting packed for his holiday trip to Lake Tahoe)...so i thought the shaking was just the roomate stomping all over the place.

Looks like only a 3.6 but the epicenter was 6 miles beneath Berkeley so shook us pretty well.

    I'm so bitter.

I moved out to LA hoping for LOTS of earthquakes, and we've only had one since I moved out here like two years ago.

    Balls.

don't worry jasun, you didn't miss much. it was pretty uneventful. like i said, i couldn't tell the difference between the earthquake and my roomate slamming the front door of our apartment.

Yeah Jasun, I've been here just over 10yrs now the two reasonable ones (and they were still small) that we've had I missed

1 I was asleep for after a heavy night of drinking nothing could wake me.
2 I was staying on a boat in the Marina

I guarantee it'll happen as soon as I set my coffee maker up at the new house out of state, and I'll miss that one too!

    earthquake junkies

I/d rather not be in any earthquakes. Being woken up in the middle of the night by an earthquake while on the 15th floor and finding out the doors are stuck isn't something I'd like to experience again
