is anybody here who speaks fluent Spanish? I'd LOVE to relearn some of the language I adore most.

Hi Steve,
nothing in particular - its just that I'd like to learn it again.
I am talking to a guy from Pero for a week now and that showed me how much I lost but also how fast I recollect all those beautiful words.
The community schools which offer evening classes here do offer spanish - like 15 weeks in a row once a week - thats not enough for me. I know I can do it WAY faster
Maybe I should just go and find somebody in south america or spain to hang out with for 1 week or two... :-(

Hmmmm..... see in Texas there's an unlimited amount of opportunities regarding Spanish. In the US, all of the HBO movie channels simulcast their movies in Spanish on the SAP channel.
One thing I do is watch movies I've seen like a million times.... but in Spanish on the SAP channel. Now.... I'm not sure how your Peruvuan friend would react if you quoted Luke Skywaker to him. He might turn down the Shining Path....
Plus here we have CNN in Espanol, Univision, Telemundo, Galavision, etc.
Telemundo plays lots of Lucha Libre on weekend afternoons..... which gets me really aroused.
Our public television station plays these very good education shows once a week at like 5am (I DVR them) - they play weekly series teaching Spanish, German and French. The German one, Fokus Deutch, is pretty dry.... you watch girls named Gisela from Wien talking about her snow skiing hobby.

Yo lo hablo. Vivia en Ecuador por cinco anos, y Bolivia por un ano tambien. Es muchisimo mas facil aprenderlo cuando lo tienes que usar cada dia, todo el dia.
Todavia no me gusta catalan porque es my dificil entenderlo. Cuanda me fui a Madrid una vez no tenia ni idea de que estaban hablando y no pude entender nada. <<thapatosh>> Que huevada es eso!? <<ZAPATOS>>!!
La cosa es, estoy olvidiendo un poquitito del espanol cada dia porque nunca lo uso. Es muy importante practicalro y usarlo como cada idioma. Ojala que no lo olvido totalmente entre diez anos o halgo!

Como ti, he olvido el mejor de las palabras entre las ocho anos pasados despues sali escuela.
El catalan es deficil, verdat. Quano fui a escuela en 1998 fui a Colombia para visitar una amiga de mi intercambio en 1994/1995 en Tejas. Estes 4 semanas y mi examen oral estaban las ultimos veces de hablar mas de tres frases en catalan. Aprendamos espanol en la escuela y mi profesor era soprendió pero hablé catalan
Ahora tienes ce utilizar paginas internet para traducir algun palabras que quiro usar en este texto. Hablo con uno chico peruano por 3 o 4 dias ahora y noto como los palabras vuelven. Lo me gustaria!
