designing for 1600

How long until people start designing for 1600?

I'm starting to see a lot of wallpapers popping up on movie sites catering to the 20inch wide screen monitors set at at 1600 resolution.

And how long until the 800 design is dead in the water?

I was interested to see SilverCash's HD gay sites were infact 1000 or so wide.
As for when 800px will be dead, i have no idea.

I like the HD sites they have BUT - I will not sign up because they use CCBill and don't use a CCBill signup.

Basschick will disagree with me, , but I think that 800 is dead now. To borrow a phrase from the fashion world... 1000px is the new black.

And yes, I DO like to make the claim that things are dead or over.
