Yes. We know. And now this simple feature is a reality.

Yep! Now you can merge all of your accounts into one using our new "Primary Affiliate Code (PAC). One login. One set of reports. One (adjustable) payout.

Rev Share? Cool. PPS? Cool. Multiple programs? Done!

Mulitple processors? Yes, if your program has Epoch as primary... YES! YES! YES!

What next? Bring it! What can we do for you? No reasonalbe request will be ignored.

Hey man! Thanks so much for your good words in this thread.

As for the 8% rate..... let me figure out how many sales you'd have to send me each day to get there. :cash:

Ya was just a joke, you guys could not have made me happier, its rare I see things change for the better now days. Now that you said that I do wonder how many sales I would have to make a day to get that rate or even less? I am sure I do not make that many or anything, but knowing how big the “box” is just make me feel better I guess. :fucked:

    Rand:

I'm just curious about the set up procedure. Will it be self-setup, or will we need an account rep to set it up? (I put the little line of code on my join pages that you asked for a couple weeks ago.)

What about training on some of the nuances?

    Rand,

On the other thread, I addressed the concern about keeping your affiliate data and links and so forth in the (very unlikely) event of a catastrophic problem with Epoch. (I'm talking an Ibill-level failure.)

Is the setup with MPA such that, God forbid, something happens to Epoch's ability to process that (a) you could lift your affiliate data, codes, cascades, etc and install them in a regular, commercial version of MPA3 or (b) if Epoch were having problems for an hour or two that the cascade could temporarily be switched to put another processor in first position for that temporary period?

I totally realize the value of the free MPA, and that the "payment" for that is having Epoch in first position, which is entirely reasonable. Just curious if you guys have made any provision for the above things. It would go a long way toward making the bigger programs feel more comfortable with the Epoch/MPA arrangement.

The set-up is pretty straightforward and you can do everything online, but, as you go through this if you see ways the process can be improved please let us know.

The new Epoch website will soon have more informatoin about the cascading and reporting features. We want everyone to have easy to understand instructions and to take full advantage of the new integration. Again, your comments are welcome and we'll have most of the information uploaded to the site by sometime next week.

I hope you have some new technical writers. The old set-up .pdf's were gobbledy-gook. You needed to be a graduate of MIT to understand them.

    Chip - Very good questions...

    a) I'm not aware of any data in the system that you do not have access to. Therefore, the answer is yes assuming the party you are trying to transfer to is able to accept the data. So, that really becomes a question for the receiving party.

    b) Of course! One of the reasons you want to be set up with a cascading system is this very reason. In the event that there were ever an interruption of Epoch's services, your secondary billing option becomes primary until the issue is resolved. The MPA3 cascading software resides on separate servers.

I guess I wasn't clear. What I meant was, could I, for example, take the MySQL database that's running behind the Epoch version of MPA 3 and plop it unchanged into a regular leased or purchased version of MPA and instantly be good to go, or, alternatively, does Mansion have an import script or something so that everything could be ported directly to the commercial version of MPA?

Of course the affiliate data could be exported from one and imported to the other, but at that point, you'd still be looking at hours or days of setup/configuration/etc... same as if, for example, you went from NATS to MPA or MPA to NATS. What I was hoping was that there would be a nearly seamless process to switch over to commercial MPA in case of a catastrophic failure (meaning, an Ibill situation) and preserve all the settings, data, links, logins, etc. Perhaps I'm being overly conservative -- if Epoch or CCBill goes under, I think the industry is going to be in very deep trouble -- but any single point of failure is a vulnerability.

    b) Of course! One of the reasons you want to be set up with a cascading system is this very reason. Excellent!!

    Thanks!
