mail server

Hi all....

Looking for a good mail server for a project I am working on. Used one in the past but wasn't all the happy with it.

Can someone recommend a good one?

i love microsofts exchange. only cause i can access my mail many different ways and the main may keeps all the mail on the server but i can access and work on it from different places without having to download it then be stuck with it on the machine i just downloaded it to. of course i am nearly always connected to the net 24/7
