Mac Users? How Many Do We Have On GWW?

There have been a couple of posts made the last week or two about Mac related issues so figured it woul be an idea to see how many of the GWW community members actually use Macs and how many use PC's

    Im a PC user here

Never really been able to get into the whole 'mac' way of doing things.

    Regards,

    Lee

One you go Mac, you'll never go back.

I got strong armed into buying one a few years back, and I've never even thought of going back to Windows.

I've said it b4 and i'll say it again.

Macs bring back bad childhood schooling memories (bad teachers, shitty computers and horrible classrooms) for me. I refuse point blank to ever have one again. My PC is much better and whilst I agree that Mac's are probably useful in some respects (particularly multimedia) I won't ever buy one.

I am on a Mac and I love it.

After seeing some of the problems Windows machines are prone to and the large amount of time that troubleshooting can take, I would really prefer not to own one.

The Mac is a stable machine that is robust enough to be used with many different applications without crashing or having the operating system become corrupted.

There are so many reasons to have a Mac... they run better, they run faster, the OS is much more stable, the interface is easier to navigate, they're not as suseptable to virus invastions, they're nicer looking and the guy who runs the company isn't as much of a dweeb.

I know that Macs weren't that great back in the 80s, but now, I just don't understand why people have PCs anymore.

OH, and how's this? Nothing can be installed onto your computer wihtout you entering a password, so add-ware is non-existant. When you add a printer, it doesn't add all sorts of stupid development-ware that you don't want, and websites can't install little spy-ware programs without you knowing about it.

CDs with enhanced tracks won't just automatically start playing, and..

    Sorry..

I'll shut up... I'm worse than an ex-smoker, eh?

I agree 100% and so do many of our employees. I have several Macs and 1 PC personally and stay away from the PC as much as possible.

I got my first Mac in 94 and finally replaced in 98. I only replaced it because it became obsolete. The new one sat in the box for three months cause I couldn't give the other one up.

I am still using the same 1998 G4. During that period I probably killed a half dozen Windows machines when I worked at other offices.

I'm now ready to get a Powerbook next month.

What's the scoop on Windows Media 9? Will they ever let it run on Macs?
