What Type Of Sites Do You Use As Sponsors?

I dont mean the actual site markets or niches but rather the 'type' of site or product itself for example:

On most of our gay free sites we tend to stick with recurring paysites like those we have on Stud Money however we also use a few pay per signup sites too.

I know a few webmasters whose sole income is derived from ezine type programs where the surfer only has to enter an email address to join too.

On the other hand i also know a lot of webmasters who make a significant amount of their monthly income from selling products like software and viagra.

I would guess that almost all of us promote actual paysites with a few of us venturing into the ezine side too.

So which type of 'site' do you prefer promoting. Paysites, Ezines, Products, Pharmacy etc etc?

    Regards,

    Lee

I use all types of programs however in my more mainstream style sites, I generally use products that focus around what I am promoting, I find a better conversion rate and reasonable commissions.

So how do you find ezine type sites convert for you on your traffic?

I have to admit every time i have used these on any of my sites the join ratios have been extremely low

Is there a specific method you use to promote them?

    Regards,

    Lee

Tend to avoid ezines, they don't really work as well for me. I generally use product specific links for example if I am writing an editorial on winter mens fashion then I would link to a variety of jackets that I have reccommended or that are stylish this year that are available for purchase online. This normally results in direction to sites like universalgear.com and others.

E-zines tend to be more in your face and I think that people then aren't gettting what they wanted out of the editorial.

    That's my $0.02 anyway.
