A late Hello thread

How's it going? Fairly new to the board. Lurked a long time, especially like Lee's articles, thats' what got my attention about this board. Not the usual garbage filler articles you read everywhere.

Anyways, I've posted a few times here already but a little about myself. I've been looking into the gay market for over a year now, seeing what's working, what's not. I come from the straight side of the biz, and I am a straight guy.

I hope people don't view me as "Just another straight webmaster trying to cut into our cash". It's not like I said "Alright, gay converts and retains better, have to jump into that if I want to make more cash". It is one of the reasons, yes. But anyways, don't want to make a whole big speech.

I'm trying a few things, keep it simple for now.

Most of us do not view straight webmasters working the gay markets that way. If your in it for the long haul and not trying 'to fuck and run', then this community wouldnt have issue with that. Since you've lurked and learned you know we have equally successful gay, bi, transgender and straight webmasters here.

Heck I'm gay, my primary market is gay men but I sell to straight surfers, too. So if you look at it in that view, we're doing the same thing

A belated welcome to you McAttack, only just noticed this post but you've already started making some valuable posts, I love a good bit of sharing every now and then.

And join the straight gay webmasters club, if that makes any sense. I too am a straight webmaster working in the gay area, all the guys and gals on the board are great - no qualms about reccommending any of them.
