hehe not quite.

sponsorships are for all 3 nights of events. not individual nights or functions. sponsorship packages give the sponsor exposure at each of the parties that weekend, along with the first night's dinner.

The purpose of the dinner is to take out everyone who's sponsoring the parties on the subsequent nights. Give them a chance to network and chill with one another in a more relaxed, less crowded and more intimate atmosphere. As we all know, there are oftentimes quite a lot of people at the parties and so intimate networking abilities are sometimes sacrificed in exchange for the opportunity to expose ones company and product to as many people as possible.

thus the sponsor only dinner. get exposure at the 2 open parties to as many gay webmasters as possible, along with dinner the first night with other sponsors in a more "exclusive" setting, for lack of a better term.

yupyup. I went to a couple events like that most recently in Vegas, as well.

the point behind them being an opportunity to present faces/company/product/program with other like-minded folk in a more controlled setting.
dinner, preceeded and followed by drinks, convo, networking, in the presence of sponsors' branding material. fun, but at the same time a bit more focused towards the business end as opposed to pure socializing.
same as any regular party one would sponsor, except with dinner included and a more intimate crowd

i agree the dinner is a good idea, you just made it sound like they were sponsoring the dinner that you were treating them to

hmm maybe ill do something the 1st nite. i really dunno.

and this isnt for pornkings, so i doubt roger will be doing anything naked

?? will any sponsor be running contests for a package
of air fare, convention admission, and hotel for the day
prior to event starting and thru one day after it ends ??

I LOVE contests...
I want to go to Florida - Internext - Aur. 2004 so so so bad
but with everything else that's happened this year - it looks
like the only way I'd get to go is if I rub my "jeanie" lamp...
or cross my finger-tits-n-toes in hopes of winning a contest
or promo...

unless of course a cool company hires me prior to for
promotions etc... and then covers my cost to go...

primarily marketing, customer support, product promotions,
networking... reviews - sites, products, services, tgp galleries etc... basic site building (free sites/galleries etc.)

I do not have techical, programming or graphics program skills...

Hey Bell... I'm in the same situation. Crossing everything I can in hopes of getting a ticket for something to get down to florida. I figure worst case senerio I get really really flexible and squeeze into TheLegacy suit case :groovy:
