    Wii 2 will be announced in June

    According to GameInformer, rumour has it that Nintendo will be announcing the Wii 2 this June at the E3, a games industry show. GameInformer cites multiple sources that confirm the announcement date.

    Not a lot is known about the new HD Wii yet, but it will support running games in HD. The original Wii is over 4 years old and this week Nintendo announced price drops on the Wii system, probably to sell off its stock to make room for the new console.

    I am not a big gamer, but I did get a Wii and enjoyed playing on it with my friends as it was silly interactive fun. Maybe the new HD Wii will be even more silly fun

    I hope it is as good as the wii. Only thing they really need to add is to be able to play dvds on it. the one thing i hated about the wii.
