We've been speaking one on one privately to privately owned blogs through blogspot, blogger, and their own hosted blogs.
We've sent them emails telling them briefly about the illegal acts they're depicting on the internet, what could happen to them if they hosted the wrong producers content (without naming producers).
For sites such as BestExclusivePorn (dot) com, we've suggested to them to monetize their traffic, how to do it, etc.
We know we can't completely fight them short term. However, if you can't win it why not join them. We've suggested to them to stop pirating and join affiliate programs and make money.
In a sense this is wrong. We feel this may stop some of them. We feel once they earn their first sale with a sponsor, they'll say, "Wait a minute! I'm really making money! Let's keep doing it this way!"
We are urging them to remove the content entirely, start their site all over on a fresh start.
We think we've been successful for two sites!
Pumpingjack.thumbblogger (dot) com has said he wants to give it a shot. This guy has been a 4yr pirate - that we know about, could be longer. If we can make a change with him, that will help!
I'm sure some will argue with us. Not all of us can issue DMCA's because we don't own the content. Until those producers act on it, the site will exist. In the meantime we feel this is an effort towards change and bring consumers back.
