Posting/User Roles

Okay guys and gals I would like your opinion. Keep in mind that I am VERY paranoid about piracy/DMCA issues so this is why I want to know...

Should I allow visitors to upload vids to my site?

As it stands they can subscribe and their role is just a subscriber so they can comment and keep their favorite vids.

I have set up a couple of different user names which I use to post vids so it looks like there are at least a few people posting.

I was thinking about allowing webmasters (from GWW) to set up accounts so they can post their sponsor vids.

What's your opinion?

I have known quite a few tube site owners open up their submits to webmasters, they setup their scripts with a dropdown which allows webmasters to select the site the clips is advertising. Then, the script automatically links the clip to the site banners, links, etc. I think that's a good option as you are in control over your uploaders, and you can ensure that you are getting legal content.

As for user uploads, I will have to leave that question to others here who run tube sites that allow it, as all my tube sites are sponsor-content only.

I agree. I am Working on this feature for the tube script i have as well. there is defiantley a demand( i sell Submit accounts for Straight porn and the demand is high) I can only imagine how high a Gay Submit would be in demand

Luke so you're saying to open it up to only webmasters who use the same sponsor as me?

Rebel d...you charge people to submit clips to your tube sights?!
