    Search Engine Ranking...HELP!!!

i thought that my sites were Search Engine optimized but i don't know why i barely get any hits from them. after reading some of these posts my 5-10 hits a week from SEs seemed kindda dinky. can anyone please look over my code and let me know if they see any obvious signs as to why this is so?

    thanks.

Well i see lots of key words all over the site
you need to focus on atleast 5 key words that are that users put in the seach box of SE may it be alone of a combo of 2/3 word phrase

but Im sure Lee & Brian can help better in that Depot!

With search engines, it's not an exact science in that A + B doesn't necessarily have to equal C.

Just because a page is formatted correctly for particular keywords doesn't mean it will be indexed as wanted, delivered in search results as intended, and visited as wanted.

So although a page itself might be formatted with certain search engine optimization goals in mind, the format of a page is hardly enough to guarantee the desired results.

SEO is an intricate process involving many, many factors.

The guys in the pictures are right... oh... so... right... *drool*

I'd turn some of that text in to anchor text. Link it. Keywords you want optimized, rather than just being plain text, turn them in to links.

A search engine will figure that if a certain phrase is a link, the destination of that link must be relevant to that particular phrase, and thus grant it more weight.

How long has your site been up? It looks like it is suffering from lack of PR, your main domain is a PR0 so you have either not had it up for very long or you need to get your links on high PR pages or you have been nailed for spamming the search engines and have been dumped by them. Its prolly the first two, work on getting links from other high PR sites to your own and take Macho411's advice about focusing on 1 key word phrase per page.

    Hope that helps. Cheers,

    Luke

thanks Chilly. just a question though, what is a "PR"? is that traffic? and "PRO"? they've both been up for a very long time 6 months to a year. could i get banned from search engines if i have too many key words (which i think i do)? too many repetative words? really appreciate it.

You do realize by 'gay' I mean a man who has sex with other men?

Snowboy i have a couple of suggestions for you on how you have built the HTML code so here goes...

[TITLE]College Dudes Gay Experience! Free Sample Pics! Straight college high school guys boys men drunk frat naked photos[/TITLE]
[META NAME="description" CONTENT=" A growing collection of sites. Amateur, Straight Guys, Twinks, Hidden Cams, College Guys, Hardcore, Fetish and more. 1000's of pictures and growing! "]
[META NAME="keywords" CONTENT="free, amateur, gay sex, pictures, porn, pics, men, man, gay sex, straight, boys, men, man, gay, sex, erotica, boys, boy, young, teen, teens, hard, dicks, frat, initiations, amateur, sexy, studs, hunks, porn, hairless, naked, nude, drunk, dudes, guys, college, crotch, bisexual, hidden cam, hiddencam, hidden cams, hiddencams, balls, photos, cock, dick"]
    [META NAME="Voluntary Content Rating" CONTENT="adult"]

The above is how your coding currently looks however, you should REALLY cut the size of this down quite considerably, i would also suggest that you keep the keywords in your metas to a minimum and also, keep them RELEVANT to the site you are building.

Here is a link to an article that will help you with choosing your keywords:

    http://www.gaywidewebmasters.com/art...keywords.shtml

With that said, here is how i would change your meta tags if this were *my* site:

[Title]Straight College Dudes - Virgin College Guys Caught On Camera[/Title]
[meta name="Description" content="Straight College Dudes Getting Fucked By Other Men For The First Time"]
[meta name="Keywords" content="Naked Straight College Dudes Gay Sex Pictures"]

Notice the structure of the meta tags has changed, they now have both upper and lowercase lettering in them as well as them being a lot shorter which will actually enable the SE's to better 'theme' your site. Another thing you will notice is that i have dropped the rating tag, IMHO, this tag isnt needed as all it serves is to clutter your HTML with unwanted / needed coding which can bog down the Search Engine spiders.

One other thing that you will notice about the meta tags is that i have also ommited the comma's the reason behiond this is so that as well as individual keywords, you can also get traffic by surfers using the SE's on key phrases, as you will probably know by using the SE's to find things yourself, its very rare that someone goes to a search engines and for their keywords use, gay, sex, pictures, and, images

Instead keep the commas out of the tags this way you are allowing yourself more of the actual space to be used for actual characters that can define search terms rather than stop characters.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Lee

PR = PageRank, its an important indicator for google. You have to install a google toolbar to get your PR values, go to http://toolbar.google.com

The toolbar is quite a nice tool as it allows you to search google quickly, it has a pop-up blocker that works 99% of the time and it shows you your page rank and other page information.

About 6 months ago, PR was everything in google. If you had a PR6 you could select almost any keyword you wanted and it would come up tops (that's why there were lots of sites like joesrepair.com/gayporn.html since joesrepair was a high PR). But of course google tweaks it engine a lot and now PR is important for getting your sites indexed more often which helps you when you are changing your site to experiment.

After you get the toolbar installed, do a search for your key terms and click on the results and you will see how the first ones usually have a high PR.

All that being said, seo is still a strange science, if you want to really get into it you have to start hanging out at places like http://www.seoforum.com/forum/ (there are loads of places like that).

if you do get into it please remember me when I ask for your help!

    Cheers,

    Luke

It's definitely worth have pages that focus on particular keywords. If you have the time and several keywords you want to go after, network individual pages that are each targeted towards a specific keyword rather than trying to have one page go after them all.

Judging effectiveness is such a difficult task, though. You can't make a change, and then come back the next day to look at ranking and traffic to determine how those changes might have influenced things. The SE's indexes can take a little while to reflect their own varying assessment of a site's value. Then, traffic patterns on the part of the surfers themselves is a whole new variable to factor in to the performance equations.

I've been doing SEO for several years now and if there's anything I've learned... it's that nothing is a given.
