    $2.75 domains at registrer.com

just got this message from register.com:

Use invitation code Reg275ne at check-out to receive new .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info, and .us domains for only $2.75 when you register for a one year term. Offer valid for new customers only, limited to a total of three domains. Upon expiration, all products will be renewed at the then current price.

That's a great deal. Is it worth porting all your domains over, though?
I wonder what price they hit you with next year?

I think you misread the quote, this offer is for NEW registrations (not transfers) and limited to 3 per new customer, plus it says "Upon expiration, all products will be renewed at the then current price. "

I don't know that much about register.com. Are they good? I am leaning towards using namecheap.com for domains because they were anti-SOPA and seem to get great comments from customers. I had a bad experience with 1&1 years ago where they stole one of my domains so I'm wondering if register.com is like them.
