Registrar, DNS and MX Query
Hi
I have a new client whose domain at the registrar is default with the registrars parked dns settings NS1 and NS2 and they also have Google Apps to handle their mail eg, their MX records are ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM, ALT2.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM etc.
As I will be hosting them, I need to update their NS1 and NS2.
- When I do this I will also need to update the MX records on my control panel to reflect the Google Mail settings - is this correct?
- Will they see any interruption in mail - as far as Google would be concerned nothing should have changed is my thinking as the mail servers would still be Google!
- If I need to add an email or change an email address I will need to get access to the `administrator' for their Google Mail system - is this correct?
Thanks
Ernie

I would contact the technical support team of your hosting provider the should have the answers you need. If they are anything like TMD Hosting they will do it for you. Good Luck
