This Saturday is the big Fremont Solstice Parade, with the painted naked cyclists!

Such a huge and fun event. Hundreds of body painted, but otherwise nude and naked men and women, walking, bicycling, unicycling, rollerblading, rollerskating, posing!

Followed the next Sunday by the Seattle Pride Parade, with a naked body painted cycle contingent.

I admire Seattle men - so many are of French, Canadian, Russian, Aleut heritage. Unique looks, compared to other regions of the US. And of course, other regions of the World.

I've been to Seattle twice to shoot, but neither time during Solstice or Pride. After all, they are public events, so its tough to shoot and market public events. I could have gone to recruit models, but many do these public events just for the social aspect and the adrenalin rush of nude in public in a crowd, that doing a studio shoot is to personal.
