If .XXX is only supposed to be for adult sites, why does Conan have one?

Last night on his show Conan O'Brien announced his new site at Conan.xxx.

There is nothing adult about that site. Remember, .xxx sites are only supposed to be used by the sponsored community to display adult websites.

It's all over the press so if ICM doesn't get it taken down we'll know that it was just another lie told by Stuart Lawley.

Possibly, but the content they have up so far doesn't seem to suggest that but time will tell.
