Video Clips

Hello All!

I will be launching my site here soon! (I hope!) One area of the site will contain videos. I am setting up sample clips, streaming clips then the entire video. I have seen sights that offer both Low and High versions of the clips for streaming while other sites offer just the High (256k or higher) version for streaming.

My question to you experienced webmasters/site owners - does the statistics show the members using both (high and low) or favoring one over the other (high 256k over the low 56K version)?

I have various editing programs but I'm finding the quality of my 56k video clips are not up to par or my liking! I'm using VideoWave 5. I also have Showbiz. I have a version of Video Vegas but have not learned how to operate the application.

Any suggesions or other video editing applications would be very helpful!

Yup, I serve 3 different versions, 56K, 256K and 512K

about 80% goes for the 512K version
15% the 256K and less that 5% the 56K

I have recently eliminated all formats except 512 I have found that the vast majority of users have fast broadband. The lower formats simply suck and who wants to watch that.
