It's something I haven't really seen in the gay website arena.
But with straight websites, it definitely seems like some people are going pretty heavy on the whole reality site genre. Suffice to say, there's some really messed up "reality sites" out there. Obviously the footage is all staged and what not. But the premise of a lot of these sites I've seen is pretty wild.
Far be it from me to judge, so that's not really what I'm doing. More posing the question... how far do you think it'll go? Reality sites are a hot market right now. So a lot of people are coming out with sites that are pretty over the top in order to compete with the ones already out there and the line keeps gettin pushed farther and farther out.
Ultimately, do you think the whole reality site binge will be bad for the biz? By flooding the net with some kinda crappy and altogether tasteless stuff? That real quality of product has been traded for outlandish and outrageous concepts? Well-produced content sacrificed in favor of fly-by-night, reality-site-of-the-week stuff?
