    New to adult industry

    Hi guys,

I'm just starting out in the adult industry. I just have a few questions...

    1) Is there any gay content providers that have Australian models only? Or anyone know anywhere i can find out where a model is from etc?

    2) Are there any sites on starting an adult site. For example, help with payment solutions, (i have webhosting covered), what sort of layout your site should follow, etc. Maybe i should sign up to one to get a feel or idea for how to design my site (talking backend stuff here).

    3) What sort of income should i be expecting? Does the adult industry pay well? I am starting a gay porn site to help me get by with university studies, so i don't have to work much - that way i can concentrate on my studies. I am only aiming for an income of $200/week minimum (that's in Australian dollars, which is about US$170). My niche is Australian-only gay porn, and i have plans to market it heavily to get the ball rolling (even an ad on TV).

    Any help appreciated!

You do realize by 'gay' I mean a man who has sex with other men?

    Hi guys,

I'm just starting out in the adult industry.
In that case welcome to the industry and to the board

    1) Is there any gay content providers that have Australian models only? Or anyone know anywhere i can find out where a model is from etc?
My first choice was going to be Brian over at Pistol media too like Tim said you might also want to check out the directory here on GWW for content providers some of them i beleive have .au models in their content sets :groovy:

    2) Are there any sites on starting an adult site. For example, help with payment solutions, (i have webhosting covered), what sort of layout your site should follow, etc. Maybe i should sign up to one to get a feel or idea for how to design my site (talking backend stuff here).
Again check out the GWW directory, we list everything you will need to work the adult industry from hosts, processors, traffic sources and just about everything in between, we also have a very good selection of articles for all experience levels which will set you in the right direction

    3) What sort of income should i be expecting? Does the adult industry pay well? I am starting a gay porn site to help me get by with university studies, so i don't have to work much - that way i can concentrate on my studies. Good question and to be brutally honest, the truthful answer is i dont know, it depends on how much time and effort you put in on the site, the more work and time you put in, the more money you will make, one thing i would say though right off the bat is not to expect the adult industry to make money overnight, it usually takes a good 3-6 months for new webmasters to start making any significant income from the porn biz.

If you have any other questions feel free to post away

    Regards,

    Lee
