Man, and this is after I cleaned up all the useless files I had. I think we established, however, with the Jasun's Workspace thread a couple of weeks back, what a slob I am. Oh, and that's the Judas Priest Logo, which is one of the tattoos I have, but only a few people who've come face to face with it know where it is. You'll see I have very few IM buddies. It's cuz most people are afraid what I've got I'm gonna get and put it in them. Like in that Alien movie.
OH, BD... PM me your mailing address.. I've got like 500 stickers with that Radiohead Rat on them.

i also hate desktop icons, so i use the nifty toolbar that came with microsoft office. it is set to autohide, as is the windows taskbar. the start menu is completely empty.
Dawgy, I think I love you! I hate desktop icons too. How did you get the taskbar thing to work like that. Is there an easy way to do it that you can just point me to a set of directions? I would love to rearrange things like that for my home pc.

If you're on a PC, taking a screenshot is simple enough. The cool thing is you can do it with whatever is displayed on the GUI. Whether it's the desktop, windows you have open, websites, popups, anything.
Simply hold down the CTRL key then press "Print Scrn" (it's to the upper right of your keyboard, right of the F keys).
CTRL + PRINT SCRN will capture the entire screen to your clipboard.
CTRL + ALT + PRINT SCRN will capture the upper most window. So if it's only what's in the browser window or something, for example, that's what it'll capture and not anything that's "behind" it.
Then if you use Photoshop or any other photo editing program, just create a new file and PASTE the screengrab in to it and there ya go!
