    Huge Fonts online

    Hey guys ...

Anyone here have a clue why all of a sudden everything I view online has HUGE text? It's like, one day everything looks like it should, and next day stuff that should be like 10-12 pixels is showing at 20 pixel or bigger. Only pages I am seeing correctly are ones built using CSS. I don't recall changing anything, and I went through and verified that I hadn't engaged any of the disablity features for browsing ... appreciate any assistance, this is making it VERRRY hard to check my designs in the browser! (and I REAAALLY don't want to reformat!)

Ah sounds like the browser default font size has changed.

You using a mousepad or tracker ball by any chance?

I only know how to fix this using a mousepad although i presume if you go into your browser settings you can find the default font size option in there :groovy:

    Regards,

I opened IE Properties, and it doesn't have a restore default - of course -- someone care to toss me what they have set for their web font and the default language setting? (assumming you haven't tinkered of course)

    On WinXP...

    Start
    Settings
    > Control Panel
    Internet Options
    Fonts
    Latin Based

    Then Do...

    Start
    Settings
    > Control Panel
    Display
    Appearance
    Font Size
    Normal

    That should do the job

    Regards,

I had done the first one right.

If I go to display/appearance the option to setup the font isn't clickable ... it's set to "desktop"

If I change that to some of the other drop down items, I see a font option, but fonts are showing they'd be 8 pixel. I didn't find any that were bigger font setting. (and I'm on ME)

Here is a screen cap from WinXP.
I've never used ME, so I don't know if it is the same.

Yep!! That fixed the regular browser view! It had somehow gone to Largest! ... not sure how to get stuff looking right in aohell yet, maybe when I reboot it'll fix to the new setting!!

    Major Hug!!

PS: exited aohell, signed back in and bingo! Normal fonts!!!!
