I take full responsibility for the closeness of jakecruise to jeffcruise.com. We were searching available domain names (there aren't tons of dotcoms for nice sounding solo model names) and I KNEW that jeffcruise sounded familar, but a bunch of searches didn't turn up anything... and somehow I totally spaced on Jake Cruise (no offense to him!)

Anyway, we'll get in touch with him and make sure he's cool with it.

As for the splash page... keep in mind this was something tossed together by the designer in about 2 hours (one pass) to have *something* to show to webmasters. It isn't intended to be public and will be totally replaced with a new tour... incorporating nearly all of the suggestions we've gotten. We will be asking for more comments as we get closer.

This is just a preview for webmasters, right? Just something for us to look at, right?

I'm concerned b/cuz if this is your homepage, you have explicit content right there at the start, and I don't think it's appropriate. Hope there's a warning page before kids can get to this so easily.

Yeah, but that's not the point. Regardless of what kids do, it's imperative for the industry to do OUR part in taking the appropriate steps to deter kids from looking at adult material. Warning pages are essential, as are labels. I'm totally with Joan Irvine and the ASACP on this. Regardless of whether or not the kids are still able to access the sites, warning pages and labels show that WE care, and that we have done OUR part. Anything less, to me, is just irresponsible.

The warning page wasn't done before Gay Phoenix Forum and AJ just got the first draft of it. Yes, indeed, this is intended to be an industry-only preview page. The final tour will be completely different and will include a warning page.
