I've never used it, but I did find this info about it.

Maybe that helps you...
You'll get more with a kind word and a 2 by 4 then you'll get with just a kind word.

What do you need to know?
I haven't used it for very long, but I've been able to make it work for me...
Here's what I need to know: I make little 20 minute Quicktime movies and export them with the preset "Streaming Video". When a user wants to watch it, it takes a long time for it to download. It takes so long that I think most people give up.
Will compressing it with Media Cleaner speed up the download process? Is it worth $500?
I don't want to debate the merits of Windows vs. Real vs. Quicktime right now. I just want to know if it's worth buying Media Cleaner to improve Quicktime.
Thanks

It's totally worth it for me, anyway.
For simply adding little clips to the web, I've been able to shrink file sizes from 17Mb down to 750Kb. Mind you, there's a noticeable drop in quality when you do that, but I'm putting it to rather extreme parameters.
You can easily drop file sizes to about a quarter the size of the original file without a big qualty gap, and if your choice is slightly lower quality vs. not seeing the clips at all, I'd say go for slightly lower quality.
if you are willing to have a drop in quality, you can't beat wmv. they start out about 1/7th or 1/8th the size of an mpg - which is MUCH smaller than a quicktime movie. and that includes the high quality wmvs.
