when we had lunches before, a surprising number of people wouldn't go anywhere pricy - they wouldn't go to todai. also, we have some vegetarians (i'm one of them)...

i sort of like the idea of french quarter or hamburger hamlet.

where does the train leave you?

Union Station I think is the closest stop to you. I think it's walking distance to China Town. Let me know though, maybe I can get closer.:kitten:

I'm kinda digging the sounds of French Quarter. But wherever the final destination, count me in.:chef:

I don't care where. Just as long as my friends are there. (French Market does sound good, since it is 3 blocks from my house. )

There is a stop in Glendale but I'm not sure if the track will be open to it yet.

Some dumb ass decided to commit suicide by parking his truck on the tracks. But at the last moment decided he wanted to live, so what does he do??? He left the truck on the track and jumped out. Whay happened next??? 11 pasengers aboard the train died and some 200 others were left injured.

So but yes, if the track is open, I can get to Glendale which would be nicer for me as I know the area way better then Union Station(place can be scarry).

the accident was just north of the glendale stop. it shouldn't have been affected, and as far as i know, the track wasn't damaged at all. so do come into glendale :-)

now, a time. i usually wake up back up at 2pm, but obviously that won't work. so how about lunch at 1pm?

Oh good then it's open now. I tried to take the train to Burbank for my nieces baptism a couple weekends back but had to get off at Union Station due to the closure. We all just assumed it was the Bozo's fault. The train lady said that the route would not be open until later in the month. I'll check and see if it's open. This will be much better.:kitten:
