Gadgets like wireless mics are worn on the belt, not the middle of the back.

The latest explaination for the bulge on his back is that he was wearing a bullet proof vest. His handlers don't want to admit to the vest because it indicates:

-he's got enemies.
-Homeland Security is lax, even at an event like this.

Makes more sense than the earpiece theory.

Dont' you think that if he were wired, he would have done better to some point? Instead of coming off as a defensive moron? Someone would have at least said, "Stop shouting like a fool, sir!"
