    Trillian

    Does anyone here use Trillian? I'm a recent convert and my ICQ list keeps going on and off. Is it just me or is this a common problem?

    I started using it a couple of months ago. I stopped using it 4 weeks ago. I really liked the unified messaging center, but I found out the hard way Trillian is crap, it uses massive resources on your PC (esp during startup and shutdown), its history recording is terrible and it constantly drops connections and never shows the right status for you online.

    I used it for about 2 weeks and it made me nutso so I deleted it.

    i've used trillian happily for over a year, but it's an older version, and so it may behave very differently.

    Anyone know of a similar program that would like me connect to ICQ and still save my chats in a text file?
