Bass Chick, if you get a chance to read this, would love your input since you mentioned that you've got one and have been using it for a while now. How are your compressed video clips turning out?

I purchased the PV-GS250 yesterday and it's great to use (so easy and ergonomically sound). I still have the two weeks to decide if I want to keep it or upgrade to the PV-GS400. I'm thinking I might just upgrade after having been to dvspot.com.

Mainly, the reason to go up to the next model (from I'm seeing so far in the reviews) is due to its advanced manual controls, plus some extra cinema features (like 16:9, film-like mode, soft skin, etc.)

It seems like GS400 has won over Sony's comparable model (something 1000--I can't get all these numbers straight! LOL)

What do you guys think? For the purposes of making good, quality video clips for the Net, would going upto the GS400 just be excessive?
