Define Twink?!?! Please!

Also I would like to state something about twink porn .. I find alot of people that call there models ( twinks ) In twink porn they are not very twinky at all ( I have looked at Citiboys! and those are twinks for sure!) But I have been visiting some twink sites and they either look more college or what a High school or college boy would look like! Seeming I was in high school only 4 years ago most of the seniors I know where much buffer and didnt really look twinky at all!! I thought twinks where suppose to look REALLY young and what I find in twink porn are more college looking boys and are complete misconceptions of what a twink is!! Just cause your 18 - 20 doesnt mean that you look like a twink! I know some 18 yr olds that look older than some 30 year old I knows...

No, you're absolutely right in what you say. I see the same thing. Maybe the word "twink" has become a catch-all term, instead of subdividing it into words like fratboy, or college jock, etc...

These days, the terminology has been expanded to include guys who just look young. They are usually on the thin side as well.

Well, this would, of course, be another example of how webmasters have appropriated certain terminology from the community and tweaked it for monetary gain. (And I'm not saying this is a bad thing.) Twinks have traditionally always been on the SLIGHTLY effeminate side; there's a youthful, fancy-fee "twinkle" in their eyes and their smile--hence the terminology "twink." "Twinkle" is not something people generally associate with machismo and raw masculinity.

Obviously, the definitions are changing as time goes by. More and more, webmasters have included thin guys with hairy chests into their "bear" pages and used "straight-for-pay" models for their straight-niche sites. Just another example of how porn is influencing pop and gay culture.

Im going to have to agree with "KEN!" Why the hell do definitions keep on changing a true definition to me is what something is originally.. Not what something has now become because other people have chosen to change what something is!..... I can totally see what you are saying... There is alot of that on the internet and that is why I was simple stating earlier.. It is amazing how many people have so many different views on what " TWINK" really is and that is why I thought this would be such and interesting thread... Cause just like " BEARS" younger guys that are skinny with alittle hair on there chest which I see alot of as well.... That is what it is becomming! because that is what alot of people recognize it as now! because that is what is being projected and in some way or another it always changes people outlooks and of course outlooks always get changed and compared and then people get different views of what things are!! Not that is it bad or wrong just very interesting to me is all!!
