Illustrator to PNG

Hi all,

I'm trying to export an Illustrator file as a PNG and even though I select transparent background, I'm getting a black one. Any thoughts?

I always open up the .ai in Photoshop, and THEN save it as .png. It's an extra step, but it works. Hope that helps.

Yeah i normally use photoshop for conversions to ive never really had much luck doing it with other design packages LOL

Thanks. That worked. What a pain in the butt though. You'd think they could just let you do it from Illustrator.
